Here is a carbon cycle activity the students can do in small groups. Students are given a set of card, which shows sources and sinks of carbon dioxide. They sort the cards and discuss. Next they pick 3 human sources of CO2, and dicuss how they personally can reduce CO2 in thier lives. An excellent way to use the student's "culture" to involve them in the lesson. Enjoy.
